由来・語源
憲（おきて・根本の規範）と法（規範・ルール）を組み合わせた造語。ドイツ法学の影響を強く受けた。
説明
constitutionの訳語として井上毅らが定着させた。国家の基本原則を定めた最高法規を指す。大日本帝国憲法制定に際して用語が確立した。
