由来・語源
概（おおよそ・大まかな）と念（思い・意識・考え）を組み合わせた造語。おおよその思考的把握という意味。
説明
conceptの訳語として西周が定着させた。複数の事物に共通する本質的な性質を思考によって把握したものを指す哲学用語。
